Instructions for Authors
General
information:
Research in Environment and
Life Sciences is a quarterly,
multidisciplinary, refereed journal associated with Society for
Environmental Protection (SEP). Original research papers/ review articles
and short communications not exceeding 6 printing pages are invited for
publication from all countries. The text should be written in English language
only. Submission of a manuscript implies that it has not been published
previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published
lecture, review, or thesis) or not under consideration for publication elsewhere;
that its publication has been approved by all coauthors (if any), as well as by
the responsible authorities; that the manuscript will not be published
elsewhere in any language any form without the consent of the copyright
holders; that written permission of the copyright holder is obtained by the
authors for material used from other copyrighted sources; and that any costs
associated with obtaining this permission are the authors responsibility; that,
If and when the manuscript is accepted for publication, the authors agree to
automatic transfer of the copyright to the publisher. The editorial board may
modify the articles to bring it to set pattern of the journal.
Scope:
The journal covering all
areas of Environment and life sciences like Environmental biology,
Environmental pollution and toxicology, Safety assessment, Biodiversity, Risk
assessment and Management, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular biology,
Agriculture (Except agriculture extension, food packaging and food processing),
Genetics, Medicine, Medical sciences, Remote sensing, Zoology, Botany, Geology
and Chemistry. The journal is useful for Environmentalist, Toxicologist,
Pharmacologists, Environmental engineers, Zoologist, Botanists, Ecologist,
Microbiologist, Industries and Research & Development organizations.
Manuscript Preparation:
Manuscript should be concise;
doubled space with wide margin on both sides. The order of text should be
Title, Short title, Author(s) name, Affiliations, Corresponding Author e-mail,
Abstract, Key words, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and
Discussion, Acknowledgment, References (References should be cited in the text
by the surname of the author(s) and the year. In case of more than two authors,
surname of the first author followed by et al. and the year should be
cited in the text), Tables, Graphs, Figures etc. (Data should be represented
by one method either table or graph) Citations must be given as follows:

Conditions for Publication:
For India: The non-refundable registration cum processing fee and page
charges (As per printing pages in journal) must be paid by author after
acceptance of manuscript. All charges are to be sent in advance. Invoice/bill
will be sent.
For
all other countries: The non-refundable registration
cum processing fee and page charges [i.e. US$ 50/- (Add US$ 10 for colour figures, if any). All charges are to be sent in
advance. Invoice/bill will be sent.
PDF
Copy: A free PDF copy of published paper will be sent to corresponding
author.
Manuscript Submission:
In order to assure rapid
publication, contributors are requested to submit the manuscript through e-mail
(rel_sci@yahoo.com) as an attachment in Microsoft word format with Panel
of four reviewers (Two from author’s home country and two foreign countries
with e-mail addresses) and filled Registration form.
Hard copies with softcopy in
CD can be submitted to Editor-in-chief, Research in

Editorial And Peer Review Process:
In-house review will
be conducted by editors and R&D division of the Journal to facilitate
publication improvements by providing suggestions in the areas of
methodologies, statistical analysis or significance, study period, technical
and research quality improvements, English language, Objectives and utilitarian
value. It also ensures that the paper is in the scope of the Journal and
various linguistic elements are well taken care of. If manuscript not found
suitable for the publication, intimation of rejection will be sent within 10
days with reports. After clearance from in-house review panel following
publication process is ensured.

The Editor and R&D team will evaluate the manuscript for
following criteria: Overall outlook,
Information in Abstract, Introductory information, Experimental design, Result
and Discussion of findings, Data presentation, References used in article, Number
of recent references, English language, Authenticity of article and Impact on
Science Community. Team will also assist the authors to prepare good quality manuscripts by improving discussion,
updating the manuscripts and references to improve the overall technical
soundness. Manuscript will also checked for (i) it has not been published elsewhere
(ii) it does not consist of duplicate or
already published material, (iii) it does not contain plagiarized
material.
